Today we walked to Blackrock Castle via St. Luke’s Home, then down to the river on the other side, up Churchyard Lane to Blackrock Road, then down to the Pierhead and home via Beaver Cottage.
On the way I saw a lovely shrub ____.
As we crossed over the top of Castle Hill overlooking the River Lee I took a few photos….
When I got home my two tee shirts under my sweater and my socks were wet. It was a cold day but I tried to keep up a good pace and it was aerobic.
I’m still having problems climbing stairs but I need to give it a few months. I hope this will improve as I continue walking.
I forgot to mention I spent time stretching this morning before getting up. I felt much more warmed up at the start of my walk.
