Ode to the Swans

What would I do without my Swans so sweet,
Who dabble in the water and kick their feet,
And sing and shout to all the world their song "Ko Kaw!"
Mary, Carolyn, Betty, and her Maw!

Starting out the day I had an ache in my head,
And I simply did not want to get out of the bed,
But I obeyed the strict command of their "Ko Kaw!"
Mary, Carolyn, Betty, and her Maw!

So to the City Cafe I came driving on down
And when I entered in there I soon lost my frown
'Cause there they were, the beautiful Sisters "Ko Kaw!"
Mary, Carolyn, Betty, and her Maw!

With Jacqui serving coffee, bacon, eggs, and toast,
and the girls all seeing who could talk the most,
you couldn't help be cheerful and say "Ko Kaw!"
with Mary, Carolyn, Betty, and her Maw!

When it was time to leave we didn't want to go,
I wept into my hankie and my nose went blow,
But pretty soon I'll hear again that song "Ko Kaw!"
of Mary, Carolyn, Betty, and her Maw!

Being in the water is like floating on a cloud,
And when we get together, we laugh out LOUD!
Virginia sings and then we shout "Ko Kaw!"
Mary, Carolyn, Betty, and her Maw!

Life is wondrous when we're holding hands
And we're all each others' biggest fans!
Virginia is the poet and she shouts "Ko Kaw!"
With Mary, Carolyn, Betty and her Maw!
